i just reviewed a work by Richard Hamilton of 'what is it that makes today's home so different, so appealing ?' at school today. it pops. you know what i mean. According to Wikipedia.com, this 10 1/4 x 9 3/4 collage, is a mirror to what happens at home; a secure and private place. TOday's home was filled with popular - mass produced - gadgets. back in the 1956, it may be that black record player or the square thick television or maybe that red thong. But however the popular gadgets turns to some newly made- high tech items, these stuff would always take over our homes. A concerete example is how my drama class would only run smoothly if the whole class are understanding and speaking the same TV shows, the new movies, the new artists, the characters in a movie that we can peg our drama characters on, the stupid things that Paris had done over the few weeks and more.
