A band from Victoria, Canada, went so quick into my playlist of indie. i've heard their songs years ago and yet, for some reason, i didnt know the band. i mean, i dont know that it's them. it's Hot Hot Heat. Their latest album is out on 2007 titled "happiness LTD", yet i still think that their best was the "elevator" album in 2005 which has singles such as "Middle of Nowhere" and "Goodnight, Goodnight". The Locksley is my newest, most favorite band! Gosh, they took me on to the dance floor way better than artic monkeys! i've heard them on imeem and on myspace, my faves are; 'dont make me wait', 'she does' and 'why not me'. their lyrics are so funny, cracked me up several times. and their beat is really really fun to dance with; awesome-awesome! The Locksley is a Madison born band (yeah, American! They do sound very brit, though) and then relocated to Brooklyn. They've toured the UK and Japan, and have worked with lots of musicians. One of them is The Hives. Patrick Dempsey is the star of my afternoon with Dedep, Dita and Marsha. We went to Senayan City to have a little chat about the old-high school life. we actually wanted a lot of people to come, with all the singapoh students are having their summer break, but most of them cant make it. sad. like, Arsella who went jalan-jalan with her mom, Lilo who cant make it and Anime who wanted to go if Lusi is coming. Anyway, we spent the afternoon watching (five minutes late) the Made of Honor, patrick dempsey's newest chick flick. The movie is utterly sweet and funny (we laugh a lot!). The sound track of the movie is lovable too! There's Sara Barellies's "Love Song", Henrietta, and a lot more other soundtracks that have made our Binus History. Have you heard about it yet? the movie is coming out in December 2008. excited or what? for those who haven't heard of Twilight (and what a poor soul you are!), the book is about a girl (Bella by Kristen Stewart), who falls in love with a vamp (Edward Cullen by Robert Pattison. You know, Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter). Their love journey, vamp adventures and the Cullens Clan history is all beautifully written by Stephenie Meyer in three books (and counting, i hope); Twilinght, New Moon and the latest, Eclipse. Sometimes i forgot that YSL is a man (i tend to refer "him" as a "she") not because she's a trans-gender. oh gosh, no! but because she (see, there i goes. he) could see what every woman needs, what every woman can looked good in.
